The DARE Conference is a two-day conference organised by YouthHubAfrica, which seeks to bring together over 500 young Africans to discuss and benefit from the practical experience of other youth speakers and artists who will share personal life experiences, success stories as well as their vision regarding an end to Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Against women and girls in Nigeria and Africa at large.

DARE Conference, organized by YouthHubAfrica is a conference that seeks to foster collaboration between African youths, the government, and Civil Society Organizations to work together towards realising the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to learn, discuss, network, and identify opportunities across four (4) thematic areas: Health, Democracy & Governance, Employment & Entrepreneurship, and Education. There will also be a special intergenerational dialogue between former heads of state and international organizations.

The 2022 conference brings together over 700 young Africans under the theme: ‘Charting Africa’s Matrix’ to discuss and benefit from the practical experience of other youth speakers, Heads of states, organisations and parastatals, activists, entrepreneurs and artists who will share ideas, personal life experiences, and success stories as well as their vision regarding mapping a way for the African continent to climb out of underdevelopment into development essentially charting Africa’s Matrix

DARE Conference 2022 is a great avenue to challenge young Africans to get actively involved in processes that highlight the need to start speaking out and look inward for homegrown solutions to the myriad of problems that plagues African society.


The DARE Conference will have speakers share their vision regarding the future of our country, focusing on conflict prevention and civic engagement, as well as on employment and entrepreneurship with focus on youths. Our aim at the end of this conference is to spark-off relevant conversation among young Nigerians on taking responsibility to secure their future.

The forum will also be an avenue to challenge young Nigerians on the need to be active citizenship, speak out and get involved in Nation building. 18 speakers and more will take the stage in four different session formats, tea conversations, pop-up sessions, pop-up performances, and panel sessions.
