Chimdi Neliaku

Chimdi Neliaku is Programmes Director for the Leadership Advancement Foundation (LEAF). She is also a lawyer, policy analyst and youth leadership development expert, and Vice-Curator, World Economic Forum Global Shapers Community (Abuja Hub). She is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants and a member of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC), Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Institute of Entrepreneurs, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), and Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Registrars. In the public sector, she serves as a Policy Researcher and Analyst in the Office for Strategic Preparedness & Resilience (OSPRE), Office of the Vice President. She also serve as the Programme Manager of the Legislative Mentorship Initiative, Office of the Speaker, House of Representatives and Senior Legal Consultant in the Office of the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Judiciary. In the private sector, she leads the Government Affairs unit of CAPPS Consult and the Public Affairs unit of Right-angle PR as a Partner in both firms. In the development space, She serves as Programmes Director of the Leadership Advancement Foundation (LEAF), where she manage the Foundation’s programmes such as the National Youth Leadership Conference (NYLC), Nigerian Prize for Leadership (NPL), Leadership Ambassadors Programme, etc. She was recently elected Curator of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Community, Abuja Hub after serving as the Vice Curator. Chimdi Neliaku is a seasoned multi-sectorial professional with a proven track record of delivery and excellence on a wide range of subject matters, programs and projects in the public sector, private sector, civil society, political sector, etc., for about 10 years. As a passionate, driven and conscientious professional, Chimdi’s work centers on government affairs, policy development, research & analysis, stakeholder management, management consulting, public relations, law and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), youth development, amongst others. Her experience in these areas arms her with a unique, well-grounded and multidimensional approach to analyzing issues, solving problems and engaging with multiple stakeholders for organizational success and optimal social impact.
