About The Speaker
Dara Falade-Adah is a communication expert with years of experience as a trainer and consultant in the development and entrepreneurship spaces. In recent times, she has consulted in this capacity for World Bank funded projects; Mineral Sector Support for Economic Diversification (MinDiver) and Gender-based Violence Mapping for TRIMING project areas in the North-west and North-east regions of Nigeria. Asides being a communication strategist, she is an astute business manager and franchise developer. She works full-time as the general manager of Texas-based College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving, a junk removal and moving business franchise. She is passionate about quality education and the economic prosperity of young persons in Nigeria and volunteers her skills to projects and programmes focused on sustainable development in these areas. She sits on the board of The Reformers of Africa, a Pan-African non-governmental organisation leveraging technology and citizens’ participation to drive social accountability in governance. In 2018, she founded The Confluence Intellectual Development Initiative, a community-based organisation supporting the education of under-served students in Kogi State Nigeria.
