Judith Gbagidi
Judith Gbagidi is a policy and governance strategist with over a decade of experience advancing democratic accountability, fiscal justice, and feminist leadership across Africa. She serves as the Governance Specialist and Programme Manager at ActionAid Nigeria, where she leads initiatives on democracy, public finance, Climate Justice and digital governance under the Citizens’ Action to End Poverty and Injustice framework. Judith has worked with international institutions, national governments, and civil society to influence reforms in education, gender equality, and digital rights. She is passionate about feminist leadership, AI governance, and data-driven advocacy for equity and accountability. Judith holds an MSc in Economics, an MBA in Information Management Systems, and certifications in AI Governance, Gender Data, and Policy Development. Her published works include Unequal Burden: Examining the Impact of Austerity Measures on Poverty and Gender Inequality in Nigeria, and her thought leadership continues to shape Africa’s discourse on governance, equity, and emerging technologies.
