Semiye Michael
Semiye Michael, is a social justice activist, campaigner and founder of DEAN Initiative; a citizens led advocacy organization in Nigeria. With over 10 years’ experience leading ground breaking campaigns targeted at specific government policies and programs, he is the convener of the #OpenLGAs and #BudgetWatch; a set of open data and open budget civic tools to invite citizens and the LGAs to partner on the domestication of Open Government activities in Nigeria. Semiye is a United Nations Global Goals Goalkeeper by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
