Sola Fagorusi

‘Sola Fagorusi is the Executive Director of Onelife Initiative, a youth-serving non-governmental organisation headquartered in Oyo State and actively providing and connecting young people with information, services and resources needed to thrive and build a resilient society.
 Under his leadership, Onelife Initiative has transformed access to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) for young people in Oyo, Akwa Ibom, and Ekiti States. In the last four years, the organisation has directly provided a wide range of SRHR services to over 4,881 women and girls, while delivering life-changing SRHR information to more than 11,300 individuals through sensitisation programs and cohort sessions.
 Fagorusi is also a Malala Fund Education Champion, recognised for his commitment to girl-focused and youth programming. He has designed and led the implementation of 16 multi-year projects benefitting adolescents and young people, and provided consultancy and professional development to institutions such as UNICEF Nigeria, the National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA), 2SCALE, the African Union Commission, HortiNigeria, COLEAD, the Global Media Campaign to End FGM, among others. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Policy.
